Gain Stage Vintage Clean presents a distinctive character that exudes warmth and punchiness with increasing input gain. Remarkably, its design significantly minimizes aliasing noise commonly associated with software amps by over 99%. Listeners readily notice its sweet, natural tonal quality compared to other amp simulations. Although it demands more gain to reach distortion compared to real guitar amps, its gradual warm character shines through as gain is increased without tipping too quickly into heavy distortion.

Originally envisioned to cater to a broad range of styles from clean country to hardcore and metal, the development journey shifted gears upon realizing its limitations with high-gain tones. Consequently, efforts were redirected towards crafting a new design resembling genuine high-gain guitar amplifiers. Notwithstanding, due to positive feedback from beta testers who appreciated its clean and low-gain distortion tones, Gain Stage Vintage Clean emerges as a standalone software amp offering a truly unique sonic experience.

Gain Stage Vintage Clean features six amp models, including four clean amps, one blues amp, and one crunch-style amp. Providing essential tools for achieving a fundamental clean guitar tone, it includes two five-band equalizers, stereo cabinet simulation, reverb, and a peak limiter.
